A pre season friendly away to Division 1 side Crymych resulted in a convincing victory for Crymych and considerable food for thought for the season ahead for Saints.
At half time a try for Courtney Bowman converted by new signing inside centre Adam Phillips to a converted try and two penalties for the home side resulted in a deficit of 13 points to 7 and plenty of satisfaction in the visitor's performance at that stage.
It was not until the sixtieth minute that Crymych recorded the next score after some slick backs interplay and this proved to be 'the beginning of the end' for Saints with four very similar further tries from the home side's excellent back division producing a final score of 46 points to 7.
